Mid-September, the IW International sent out a Ford Addendum for Locals and Trades to vote on and Adopt. After reading and reviewing, Local 25 sent in a DENIED vote. Recently, we were notified that the addendum was PASSED and will go into efffect.
Please know that Local 25 did vote to deny the addendum. The letter that was sent into the IW International and the new Ford Addendum can be viewed on the website. If you have any other questions, please contact one of the business agents.

This years event will take place May 4 - 5 at the Operating Engineers Training & Education Center in Howell, Michigan.

The final piece of structural steel was placed above the Via concourse and adjoining buildings outside Little Caesars Arena today.
Crews took a moment to celebrate the final truss going into place and much like the topping out ceremony of Little Caesars Arena, held in August, the final Via truss had an evergreen tree on it to mark yet another point of impressive progress.

Iron Worker Local 25 members celebrated the 'topping out' of the new Detroit Red Wings arena on Thursday, August 4th 2016.
"I'll tell you what it means. It's a sense of accomplishment," Sullivan said at the ceremony. "A year ago, it was a big hole in the ground. Right now, you can see the results a year later. It's a sense of accomplishment."
